Two reactions to extremism

Compare and contrast:

a. Tory MP, snapped next to man dressed as Nazi, sacked

b. Labour MPs invite real, declared anti-Semite to speak at Westminster: still in post.

I am no fan of the Tories, but…something’s not right here.

  1. Surprised the Tories did not promote him! Not in agreement with your views on Labour. Miliband is Bani Yehudi, at least Lab do not (at present) have links to BNP/EDL…

  2. Neither do the Tories have links to BNP/EDL, to my knowledge. And a number of people have speculated that one of the reasons that Miliband is going very gently on anti-Semitism is precisely *because* of his Jewish roots: that he doesn't want to be seen to be "taking sides".

  3. Have to agree – I actually think the Tories are doing more to stamp out racism in their party than Labour at the moment, which was the point of the post.

And I also am a member of the Labour Party (in case that were not blindingly obvious!)
